# Female Guilt

Illustration for Female Guilt, a Colombian anthology by Hiedras and Dr. Fausto Cómics.

In 2019, I was invited by the feminist platform [Hiedras](https://www.instagram.com/somoshiedras/) and the independent publisher [Dr. Fausto Cómics](https://www.instagram.com/dr.fausto.comics) to participate in this anthology. Alongside 12 Colombian illustrators, we explored the concept of “female guilt” as the historical burden women face for daring to be themselves. The project challenges traditional gender stereotypes, portraying women as complex individuals with their own nuances and contradictions, rather than limiting them to roles such as mother, wife, daughter, and lover.
