Cover illustration for the single [‘Yellow’](https://open.spotify.com/intl-es/track/74JhiAReOFWC5fnGF76Mqz) by the Spanish musician and songwriter Luan Mei. ‘Yellow’ is a summer love story between two women artists, a poet and a musician, who discover freedom through their relationship and share a common vision of the world.

It all began with a rough idea from the artist.

My first proposal was turned down, though I still like it.

For the second version I went back to line work, and the artist suggested adding bicycles, a nod to how the two women met.

The final cover.
