Elvira Ipia has survived 244 guerrilla takeovers in Caldono - Cauca. In this episode, Elvira talks with a former member of the guerrilla about how, for hundreds of children and adolescents in the area, the armed takeovers, the forced recruitment, the attacks on the community, and the effects on education, indigenous reservations, and the dynamics of everyday life were the daily bread for more than 3 decades.
