The Canva Represents Colombia collection: a collage of the thirty illustrations

For Canva Represents, I created thirty illustrations of Colombian life for people to use in their designs. Vibrant colour connects the collection’s regional food, landscapes, celebrations and everyday scenes. I worked at two scales: complete scenes that can lead a composition, and individual elements that can be combined within it.

A picó sound system, the Medellín Metrocable and a street haircut locate the scenes in Colombia’s everyday visual culture. People and their surroundings tell the story together.
