UGLYCASH
Uglyman, a character for a dollar account

UGLYCASH wanted its dollar account to feel close to people in Latin America who earn online or receive money from abroad. Within the brand team, I designed Uglyman and contributed illustration and animation for campaigns, social content and office posters.

Uglyman and his antagonist
Uglyman’s antagonist is a suited corporate villain representing traditional banking. I drew him as a foil to Uglyman’s relaxed character, giving the campaign a conflict to play out in images and animation.

I designed the original Uglyman character, later adapted into a physical action figure by another creator.
Posters and social
The illustration language moved into posters for the Buenos Aires and San Francisco offices, alongside animated assets for the brand’s social channels.
