For Medellín’s 2017 Book and Culture Festival, I illustrated Tom Sóyer, mucho culicagao, Koleia Bungard’s adaptation of Mark Twain set in Medellín. The free printed book was accompanied by an interactive app; I prepared the illustrations in separate layers for animation.

The characters developed for this adaptation were Tom Sawyer as “Tom Sóyer”, aunt Polly as “Tía Dolly”, Huckleberry Finn as “Huck El mortiño” Becky Thatcher as “Becky”, Injun Joe as “Indio Joe”
